Does anyone remember the thread from a while back that had chocolate chip cookie recipes? There was a recipe there that I loved that used pudding mix, and I can't find it! Can anyone help? Thanks!

I don't know if it's the same one that was talked about in the previous thread but I have a recipe that uses the pudding...it's become our standard choc chip cookie recipe. I just made it yesterday with m&m's...yummy. Here it is...

Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies
1 1/2 c butter
3 eggs
1 c brown sugar
1/2 c white sugar
vanilla to taste
3 1/3 c sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
2 pkg (6 svg size) dry vanilla instant pudding mix
2 c chocolate chips

Cream together butter eggs, sugars and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients then add chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 min or until golden...do not overbake.

3 tips...
* I used 2 sticks of butter and 1 margarine the last time I made them. I thought they turned out wonderful.
* Make sure to sift the flour. If you get too much they don't spread very well and you'll have cookies that look more like compact hockey pucks. icon_smile.gif Still soft though.
* I mistakenly used cook & serve pudding once and didn't even see a difference.

Good luck...I hope you like them!

Thanks! Do you think this would work well for a cookie cake?

I have no idea but if it doesn't work out just call the kiddos over and I'm sure it would be "taken care of"!!! LOL!!
