What would be the best medium to attach fondant pieces, for example zebra stripes, panels and a fondant name, to a BC cake? I usually attach with water when using fondant on fondant cake but unsure of fondant on BC. TIA

i would just use the same buttercream and put that on the back of the fondant pieces to stick them

I use Vodka, some use Everclear. It just takes a small amount for each piece. Just make sure to let your Buttercream set first. I usually wait an hour before I start applying decorations. Good luck!

I would go with what Elise suggested. I think Tylose glue or piping gel would work out too.

I was wondering about piping gel or vodka. I think I'm a little short on the vodka right now......and I don't think it ended up on my cakes!?!?!
