Hi All!

I am going to make an underwater beach theme cake for my son's b-day. I am going to crush up some graham crackers to apply to the cake board for a sand effect.

How do I "glue" the crushed graham crackers to the cake board/drum???

Thanks,

=)

Piping gel should work. Just brush it on very thinly.

I have used piping gel and corn syrup before.

I've never done it but what if you covered the board first in fondant then spritzed water over it and put the graham crackers on that? I find pretty much anything will stick to wet fondant? icon_confused.gif

I've used graham crackers on my second cake and didn't glue it.
