Hi everyone. This is my first post but I have been learning a lot from all of you for about a month now. I am just beginning and have a request for a yellow cake with a peach filling. I have done strawberry filling using strawberry jam and fresh strawberries. What is the best way to do a peach filling? Thank you for your help.

Why not do the same with peaches? There is peach jam so you could apply the same process to peach filling. Or you could use pie filling, just make sure you have a really thick and sturdy dam.

Sounds yummy.....peaches & cake.

good luck

Thank you... That was my first thought, but I wanted to see if there was anything different I was missing. That is probably what I am going to do. Thanks again.

I use Smuckers peach preserves sometimes. I put down a layer of smbc which I use for frosting then put the preserves-(with some fresh peaches mixed in if you want) on top of that. As was said previously use a dam.

Yep, as far as I remember there was a peach jam I saw once at my old job.

I've used canned diced peaches in buttercream, as well as peach yogurt in buttercream and it was tasty

You can also do peach jam or preserves with peach jello. The jello stabilizes the jam and adds an extra peach punch.

I also use canned, sliced peaches add them to a box of peach jello and then mix with some cool whip or pastry pride. Sooo good. Good luck!

All of my fillings are bc based. If I'm doing a fruit (strawberry, raspberry, etc.) I add the preserve. So a strawberry filling is strawberry preserves mixed with my bc. It's so easy and definitely a no fail. I do the same with peanut butter, oreos, pistachio...just add them to my bc.
