I know this probably been over a few times but has anybody come up with something to simulate diamonds (edible) on a cake. I have purchased the edible jewels but have really been disappointed with the way they look on a cake. They don't sparkle. Any ideas?
I've never done jewels but I have read about them, check out the pulled sugar forum. There are molds, & you use cooked sugar (or a sugar substitute) to fill them with.
