I am making some cookies for Saturday. They are soft cake like sugar cookies. I was going to bake tomorrow and decorate Friday, but I now wont be here tomorrow. So I am baking today. Should I freeze the cookies just for one day? Or just leave them in an airtight container for an extra day?

I would just seal them up in the airtight container. Should be fine. icon_smile.gif

One day shouldn't make a difference. I'd stick them in a plastic container and leave them in the fridge.
