Okay, this is my first time ever posting--wish me luck..
I was asked to do a groom's cake to feed 80 people of the old Met's stadium. The bride would like a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. My first concern is the size of the cake. Should make a 10" round cake stadium and place it on a 14" square cake so I know I have enough cake for 80 or should it be a larger size for the bottom square? My second concern is the top part of the stadium (seating area) , should I keep it red velvet or do a pound cake so that it would be more stable?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!,
Jacque
