I was hoping for your help icon_smile.gif I have heard that there is a cake book you can use to reference many things about cake...like trouble shooting icon_smile.gif Does anyone know the name of the book? Thanks so much for your help in advance. You ladies are the best!!!!

Are you talking about the Cake Bible?

I have heard of it a lot but haven't actually seen it so not sure if thats the one.

Rose Levy Berenbaum. She is the absolute goddess of cake baking. She also has a Pie Bible and Bread Bible. She thoroughly researches every method and ingredient.
