I am trying to make squares of chocolate by melting it, then spreading on a cookie sheet. I then cut out squares, but it's not working!! How do I do this???? Thanks!!

I have a chocolate mold that I use. Not sure what you need the squares for or how many, but maybe in a pinch you could buy the ghiradelli squares?

what do you mean when you say it isn't working? when i was in school, we used to spread tempered chocolate onto parchment or acetate paper and then cut shapes out of the chocolate once it had hardened slightly.

It was not coming off the cookie sheet, but I will try w/ parchment (duh!).

I am making little "plates" for mini cheesecakes, about 45 pcs. It'll be a long night!
