Try aine2 on youtube, she has links to her webpage there, where you can purchase and view some free tutorials. They are brilliant.

Another great source is any of your polomer clay books - or any clay books - they always have little how-to's in them - all sorts animals and such - and youd use your gumpaste/fondant the same as they do their clay =)

Maisie Parish (Parrish?; but I think it's Parish) has some books out that are excellent. Simple and clear and they're not expensive. 'Animal Modelling Made Easy' is one, and she has at least one on modelling people. You can look her up on Amazon as that's where I got mine! And yes, aine2 here on CC has excellent videos!
