Different Baking Temperature

I am using a small oven for baking. I came across a recipe that is to be abked at 350 degrees but because my oven is small and it dosent have such high temperature. Am I able to bake the cake at a lower temperature but at a longer time?

Pls help...

I bake just about everything between 310-325. Do you have a oven thermometer you can check the actual temperature in your oven....not the one on the oven, but the stand alone kind. Most ovens don't give you an accurate reading so it is best to have the extra thermometer to double check the real temp!

Yah, what she ^^^ said icon_smile.gif Baking at lower temp will give you a moister cake w/o that famous 'hump' in the center.

Of course. I always bake my cakes at 325.
