Sorry for the stupid subject line- icon_razz.gif

Anyone ever used a 12 x 18 cake, cut in half, then stacked? icon_confused.gif If so, does this feed 48 or am I way off?

I haven't done it that way, but I have stacked 9 X 13 cakes before. By my figuring, it would feed 48, since a single 9 X 13 feeds 24. The pieces would just have to be cut smaller, because the cake is so much taller. That is, unless you put a board between the layers, then you can cut it as two different cakes. I hope that makes sense, I'm starting to confuse myself.
