I usually put on a crumb coat, refrigerate for awhile to let it set up (i did it overnight once and the cake got too hard. an hour or so is good) then put on a fresh thin coat of BC for the sticky factor. Then you're ready to put our fondant on. Hope this helps!

Take a damp paper towel or paint brush and put it on the back of the fondant. It will stick that way. I have also refrigerated the cake for a short period of time and when you take it out, as the condensation begins, it will be enough to stick the fondant on.

Just spritz your cake with some water from a misting spray bottle. Instant stick!
