Hiall. I use DH white cake mix, I want to add an egg and 1 box of pudding (which is about 3 oz.). White mixes call for 2 Tblsps of oil. Do you add more oil because of the extra added ingredients? Does the pudding make the cake sweeter than without it; if I use sugar free pudding (which is only 1 oz. ) should I use three boxes? TIA

What are you trying to achieve by adding pudding mix? Depth of flavor can be increased by simply adding more flavoring or extract.
A cake recipe with too much sugar, fat and/or leavening will sink.
