I have bought the pearl dust for my fondant but it didn't look all that good. Is there something that I'm doing wrong? I just take my fondant and get my paintbrush and dip it in the dust and brush it on to my fondant. BUt is never looks shiny and pretty like alot of cakes I have seen. You can go to my pics and the bridal gown cake that I made I put a good bit on it and you can't even tell. Please help me!!!

I bought and use a large make up *blusher* brush.

I just dip it in the LD/PD - and then shake the excess off and then *twirl* as i apply.
Sometimes if too much is on then it can give that *caked on* apperance.

To give it a nice shine, mix it with vodka and airbrush it on. You can mix and then brush it on, but sometimes it leaves brush marks.
