I am making a cake for my friend's bachelor party, his fiance is my co-worker and wants to surprise him with an Ohio State box O cake. I'm planning on carving the O out of 2 9x13 layers, but am stumped on how to cut out the leaf without loosing too many servings.

I've already baked the 9x13's and initially didn't do 1/2 sheets b/c I didn't need that many servings.

Any help is appreciated!

TIA
LL

Hi....you can take a piece of wax paper and lay it on the leaves. Trace it with a pencil. Roll out the green fondant, lay the tracing on it, then cut it out with an X-acto knife. HTH...Brownie

Well shoot...I meant to finish by saying...Cut out your O....do the leaves in the fondant like I suggested, then lay that on the O....you may have to leave a tiny section of cake where the leaves will lay, so they don't sag down....
