Her emails are in Red, my responses are in black....

Do you have anything that could be used for a baby boy cookie? We aredoing a shower at LaMadeline and not having cake just cookies. Let me know,

I have a baby boy face, a bottle, baby food jar, stroller (my least
favorite), a rattle, and a cute sailboat I have used once before. Does
that answer your question?

do you by chance have any pictures? We would need them on Friday night May 29th is that ok? Our shower is at 9:00am on Saturday the 30th. Ibet they are all cute! I need 24.

If you will look on the front page of my website, you can see
that I am already completely booked for the month of May. I don't know
why, but May tends to book up fast - did last year too! I'm sorry but I
can't add anything else to my plate for this month icon_sad.gif

do you know of anyone else who does cookies? I never dreamed you would not be able to do them! That is my fault for assumingicon_sad.gif

I did a search online yesterday and couldn't find anything. You might try
Cookies By Design. I have no idea how much they cost or even where the nearest one is but I have used them several times before I did this and was very pleased with them. www.cookiesbydesign.com

Will you please do my cookies for me? I need 20õ¤

NO RESPONSE FROM ME

Is there any way you can do these for me? I have checked around and no one really knows of anyone plus I know yours are the best!

Did you try cookiesbydesign.com? I am sure they could do it. They have
several employees and can handle more orders than I can.

no I didn't. I'm just nervous about ordering from anyone but you.

I checked their website and there is one in NEXTTOWN so not too far away.

OK, so this mean you can't do mine this time?

CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS WOMAN????? Yes, I was yelling. I vowed the last time I took an order from her that I would never take one again. She drove me nuts with the last one!

First, good for you for sticking to your guns. icon_smile.gif

If it were me (and I don't know your schedule to even know if you would consider it), I would tell her you'll do them but it's going to cost her 4x the regular price since you are so busy. Maybe then she'll go away.

Well, probably not. She'll just whine about the price.

Oh, I'm so in on this one. I had a consultation with a total Groomzilla. As soon as the consultation was over I marked my web site unavailable on his date. He calls back a month later wanting to book.

Me: I can not help you, I'm completely booked.

gz: You mean you can't make or cake?

Me: No, I'm completely booked.

Gz: Well, that's just great. Now we won't have a wedding cake.

Me: You have plenty of time to find someone else. (The date is September.)

Gz: There's no one else.

Me: I disagree. MYTOWN is blessed to have several excellent cake designers. Would you like me to recommend someone?"

Gz: Can't you make the cake?

Me: No, I'm completely booked. Would you like me to recommend someone?

Gz: What I want is for you to cancel someone else and do our cake.

Me: Are you kidding? You want me to cancel someone else who I have a contract with and has already paid their deposit? NO.

Gz: I just don't understand.

Me: I'm completely booked. Would you like me to recommend someone?

Gz: hangs up.

And I have greatly shortened this.

I fell sooooo sorry for the bride. He is completely domineering and she is completely submissive.

Wow!!!! She's very persistent, isn't she? icon_wink.gif

Even tho she's annoying, aren't you just a little flattered that she REALLY wants only your cookies? They must be wonderful -- I checked out your photos, but you only have 1 cake posted. I want to see cookies!!

I've had a year haven't I? Remember the bride who wanted to pay for her wedding cake with food stamps? (Don't get started on that again.) And now Mr. "The world revolves around ME." Sheesh.

I wonder has anyone ever started a thread for oddest/worst customer, tasting etc?

Would be a very long thread I am sure and probably be a best seller LOL if it were ever published!

Good Gosh...both the OP and LeahS were getting hit hard by these people! Take a chill pill and find someone else.

The good news is that both of you are obviously VERY popular!!

Leahs this reminds me of my aunt...she's a Cosmetologist and she had 3 clients (mother, daughter & cousin) who tried to pay her with foodstamps back when foodstamps came in paper form. My aunt was such a pushover that she'd accept them but that quickly came to an end when my mom (who is a person you do not want to cross) found out and went to their house and demanded they give my aunt Cash and to not come back to her salon with the same BS. Lets just say my mom has a way of making grown men cry icon_lol.gif So of course they never tried my aunt with that foolishness again icon_wink.gif

People will never cease to amaze me. Just when you think you've seen it all, a whole new breed of stupid comes along. thumbsdown.gif

And Leahs, really it's a moot point for you because you'll be closing down your shop to come work in mine for a while. I won't be paying you, but you'll have the prestige of telling people you did it. Of course you'll only be able to tell them you swept and mopped, I don't want them thinking you did the baking and decorating. Don't worry, you'll be in good company, I've informed Debi that she's doing the same thing. You guys will be more behind the scenes. In fact... I don't think you'll be coming out of the kitchen except by cover of darkness. It's... um... a local custom. Yah.

Yes, but who will do your cookies? If I get to rub elbows with you, Leah, and Debi, I'll volunteer to join your operation!
