Does anyone know the laws for home cake decorating in Ks?I have looked and not really found anything, mainly just about farmers markets. I have only sold one cake, but have given alot away, and a few people are wanting me to take orders for cakes. I am a CDM/CFPP so I know the rules of safe food handing. Any help would be great !! Yea Kansas!!

Check with your local health department. They can tell who to contact to get legal or where to find the laws.

You will need to check with the KS Dept of Ag- they said it would be a retail food license to sell cakes. Here's the link to their site: http://www.ksda.gov/food_safety/content/326/cid/1525.
