Hi, I don't charge for each accent. But if I'm making flowers, I charge for the time I spend making them. icon_smile.gif

You figure out how long something is going to take you to make, decide how much you want to charge hourly, and extrapolate that to find how much you are going to charge.

For example, a bride wants 28 gumpaste roses on her cake. Each rose takes me 20 minutes to make from the very first step to the final step, so I can make 3 roses per hour, which means that 28 roses will take me 8 hours. I multiply 8 hours x my hourly rate of $25 per hour and charge $200 for the roses.

Time invested x your hourly rate = how much you charge.
