A friend of mine ask me to make her wedding cake
i have never made a wedding cake
it is going to be stacked 12 " 10" and 8"
each are 2 layers
will i be able to transport it okay if it is stacked ahead of time
will be using fondant to cover cake.

As long as it is well constructed and supported, transporting a fully-stacked cake is no problem. I suggest you explore all of your options for support. Many swear by the SPS system (there is a sticky explaining it on the top of the how do I board). But even a well-constructed doweled cake (which is what I use) will transport with no problems.
