I want to make a grad cap i have a ball pan just need to know how to apply the fondant to my cardboard. Do I need to put buttercream frosting on my cardboard than the fondant or grease? Is a 7x7 cardboard a standard size for the the top of ball pan?

Thanks for any idea that you can give me.

just mist your cardboard with water.. litely mist. and the fondant will stick to it. just like if you were covering cake dummies.. piping gel is good glue for the fondant also.. hth
