I've been using lots of the Wilton spray can stuff lately & have decided that I like painting the color rather than mixing it into the icing. Lots faster! So I'm gonna take the plunge and get an airbrush machine. My question is----has anyone in here used a "Salon Air" advertised for $99? It looks like a really good one for a beginner like me. Any thoughts? Thanks again! icon_smile.gif

No, but I love airbrushing! You get hooked because it's so fast and easy. You'll see.

How about the compressors? When airbrush is brought up the compressor isn't talked about. That is the other half of airbrushing!! You cannot airbrush without it, so what is the best kind to get fairly cheaply?

I just bought a Kroma jet. I haven't started to use it yet but I think it is suppose to be one of the better ones. The best one that I have heard about is the airmaster.

that same set up is also marketed for cake decorating too. so it will do fine. take a look at amazon, it comes up there along with whole bunch of others.
