Hey CCer's-

I am going to be making Minnie Ears for a cake due next month. I'll be using Gumpaste and black sanding sugar. My question is:

When is the best time to apply the sanding sugar? I know the Gumpaste needs to be moist, just not sure. Should I let them dry a bit first or let them dry completely and then apply the sanding sugar?

Thanks
Melissa

That's what I figured. Did a little test and it worked. I just used Vodka and put the sugar on.
