Are there any other cake places besides Mary Carter, Michaels or Joann?
What about South haven?
Maybe going through that area soon. needed to know.
I don't know but I've been trading at Mary Carter forever--Jim and Kathy are awesome people. I love the place.
Hey, on that note --I'm glad you posted this--hey at Big Lots on Summer Avenue, East of Mary Carter a coupla miles, is the cutest cuppy stand ever! 28 cuppies--5 tiers ten bucks--what can I say?
I can do a picture later today. It'ss adorable!!!
I found MC a long time ago and was wondering if there were any other places south of the city.
I live with my dad every summer in Memphis back in the 70's.
He worked for a car body shop down from MC back then. Its a whole different neighborhood now.
Everything is a whole different neighborhood now!
But still there's no place like home.
It sure is.
We drove the old neighborhood awhile back and it is nothing like it was when dad was alive. Only one family still lived there that I knew.
The house was still there but not like the way dad kept it up.
He would never let it look like that.
we were always in the yard doing something to it. he was always on a ladder painting.
sigh......................................
The Candy Store in Southaven on Millbranch. It is just off State Line Rd west of I55. They've got everything. I took my original cake decorating classes there and they were WAY better than the Wilton classes I took later at Hobby Lobby.
