I'm making ganache. The container says it expires June 25th. It doesn't smell bad at all. It's just on the chunky side. Almost like a melty soft-serve ice cream. Is it okay to use?
I never use cream. I have no idea.

that's more than a month away! is it possible your fridge was a bit on the cold side (my top shelf will sometimes freeze things) I would say it's still good.

Ah. Good point. It was on the top right by the air. I bet you are right!!
Turns out my mom had exactly what I needed and was coming here anyway, so I was covered.

Try shaking it up. Heavy cream is pretty melty soft serve ice cream. LOL!! As long as it smells OK, taste a little if it's not sour it'll be fine to use.
