I'm going to try making some lotus flowers out of gum paste for a cake next month and was wondering if anyone who's done them could give me some tips or tricks? So far I'm thinking of using different sized daisy cutters and letting them dry on different sized styrofoam balls to get the concave type shape, then placing them inside each other for an opening lotus kind of look. Haven't figured out what to do about the centers yet. Anyone a Gum Paste Lotus Flower Expert? icon_biggrin.gif
