Is there a way to keep buttercream from sticking to the board on top of it in a tiered cake? I hate that the icing from the bottom tier always sticks to the board above when I take the board off when serving. Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks!

powdered sugar or cake crumbs. I like using powdered sugar. Just put some in a sieve and shake it gently over the area where your cake plate will rest. Make sure you wont see the sugar when the plate is down. It works pretty well. You should ALWAYS do this when making tiered cakes, especially wedding cakes.
