I had this picture given to me with a specific request the icing look like this, and be chocolate. I haven't done it before. Anyone have any ideas or recipes to help me? Thanks in advance for all your help. I can't get the picture to up load. but the chocolate is shiny and very chocolate looking in color. Almost like what a melted hershey bar might look like.

would it be choc ganache?

i'm not sure if it is a ganache or not. i'd rather work with buttercream if possible. i just have never been able to get it really dark and taste like chocolate. The picture is really smooth though. Thanks for the recipe link. I'll give it a try. I have to do this cake next week. Now to figure out how do do some hibiscus flowers in buttercream.
