Can I add Gum Arabic powder to Satin Ice fondant to make it more like gum paste? I read that you do that with Tylose. What's the difference? Thanks in advance!!!

No, it is not. Gum Tragacanth works the same as Tylose or CMC.

Gum arabic is used to make edible glitter and it strengthens royal icing. Maybe some other stuff too but that's all I know.

I've read that you can mix it with water and brush it on gumpaste or fondant leaves to give them some shine.

Agree...and use it like k8memphis also. Works great in royal if you are making lilies or lace points.
