I have 2 dz cupcakes to do this weekend and they would like an edible image standing up on each one. I've done the images on buttercream and fondant with no issue...but can you put it on a candy melt plaque? I was thinking of using heart shaped candy molds and then attaching the image to each one. Can I do this and what would I use to stick the image on with?

How about piping gel - I use it for everything.

I've done edible images on candy melts before. I just spread the melts on parchment paper then set the already cut images on it. Let it harden them take a sharp knife and cut around the image. Super easy and it works great!

thank you! I'm going supply shopping today so I didn't want to waste $$ on candy melts if it wouldn't work. icon_smile.gif

Yes, you can. I would put a very thin layer of clear piping gel.
