Hi everyone!
I have to do a 3d aligator with cap and gown for next month. I was going to carve the head out of rct and body carve styrofoam then cover both with fondant. My question is can I freeze them with the fondant on? I want to work on it a little at a time so I figured freezing would perserve the fondant if it can be done?
Thank you in advance!

CAndy, I have done exactly what you are saying.

If you are going to airbrush, I wouldnt suggest freezing it. It will get tacky and sticky. But if you are using colored fondant you should be good.

I always put mine in the freezer for an hour or so when I use fondant, it gives it a nice shiny finish too!

Thank you so much. Do you know how long I can freeze it for?
