I went to a local cake decorating supply store to pick up a cookie cutter and while there I came across these. Anyone tried them? Do they actually taste like the Jelly Belly jelly beans?

Never saw them before - very interesting. Do you know who the manufacturer is? I don't see it on Jelly Belly's website.

I did some checking on the web and I saw that fondant source .com carries them. And that they also come in 2.75 pound tubs. I wonder how it would taste under the fondant, instead of crumbing with buttercream? For example, if you did a cake with cherry filling, and then use the cherry flavoring piping gel to crumb coat the cake before covering it with the fondant?

icon_smile.gif Here's a link to buy all the different flavors. Might be a little pricey to use in lieu of crumbcoat.

Sounds good, but I'm only really interested if they come in the less conventional jelly belly flavours: earwax, booger & grass!!

Me too! July some time, I think. It's a good movie year for geeks - how did you like the new Star Trek? (ok, maybe it's just me then... Live long & prosper)

icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif Ya lost me at Star Trek...hee hee...actually I don't keep up with Star Trek, but I have very fond memories of seeing whichever movie it was where they went to San Fran and took a whale somewhere with them in their ship. Lol....I loved that one. I think it was one of the worst rated by true 'Trekkies' though, wasn't it?

I don't know about that - I'm a fan, not a FAN, if you know what I mean (as in, I like it, but I don't have any outfits, or speak Klingon or anything!)

The latest film is a lot of fun - even my hyper-cool 13 yo daughter liked it!

Now, when it comes to HP I am a FAN!!!

(Sorry to hijack the thread!!)
