For those of you who have made a Spongebob cake before, how did you get that shade of yellow?

I'm looking at the Americolor Lemon Yellow and thinking it looks pretty close, but is it close enough? I'm always second guessing my colors.

you can add a bit of orange to make the yellow a little bit more golden but SB is pretty bright yellow so the lemon yellow should work. Do it first and if you want it darker add a bit of orange, just a bit.

I'm making a SB cake this week too icon_smile.gif

Good luck with yours!

Shelly,
This is too funny, right before I read this post, I was just browsing Spongebob's and PM'd you about one of yours and assisting me in creating it! It's great, one of my favorites..
