First off, I would like to say that I really like the new layout on the site......BUT.....I really miss seeing the "Popular Cakes" on the home page. Anyone else miss them?? I really enjoyed seeing them. I also liked where you could see cakes on the home page that were specific to the holiday or season. Anyone else agree???
Personally, I'm here for the forums, so I don't een look at the pictures so much. The new bigger picture does irritate me, though, because now I have to scroll down every time to see what the latest topics are.
Other people were saying the same thing about the pictures on another thread, though, you're not alone.
I am not a big fan of the change. I too really liked seeing the most popluar cakes and the current postingson the home page.
I miss the popular cakes and holiday specific cake pictures too. Not a huge fan of the changes but I still LOVE this site!
I too miss the old hompage, all the different cakes, much easier to navigate around. Hope they bring it back soon. But I guess I will have to be patient and wait along with everyone else. Still love the site itself though. Hope they soon get it back to normal.
I have to agree!! I hate having to scroll down to see the hot topics!! The larger pictures take longer to load and I have a delay when scrolling. Ditto the "missing" seasonal and popular photos!! I don't have a lot of time to just sit and look at pictures, so it's great to see some of the best when I only have a few minutes. Please bring back the "old' format!
Here's a similar thread on this topic along with a poll.
I agree. I really enjoyed seeing 3 different categories that changed periodically throughout the day. I really liked having the different categories. It gave me lots to look at, and I wasn't having to scroll through pages of photos that rarely changed.
I sure hope that they go back to the "old" way! Although I must say that I LOVE the site overall!
i love cake central.... but , hate the change.. we all have the right to say how we feel.
Apparently the link you posted has been deleted.
Yes, unfortunately, it has.
