I am searching for what are called creme cakes. These are sold by Publix supermarkets and the big chain markets. The texture is like a pound cake but lighter and come in vanilla, lemon, and chocolate. They are either made as small tea cakes or on tube pans. I have tried the almond one which is awesome.........I even had them make a 2 layer b-day cake for 25 people out of the same batter. Does anyone have something similar they can share? Again, it is lighter than a pound cake but not as fluffy as a boxed layer cake.
Thank you,
Naty
