I want to make a box cake for Mother's Day. I plan to make the lid from gumpaste. How would I attach a looopy gum paste bow to this? I thought I could cut a whole in the top and just insert the individual loops in to the cake. If I did this, what kind of wire is ok to use? Is there another way?

I know this has been asked before but I can't find the answer by searching the forums. Thanks!

I would attach with melted white chocolate (or confectioner's coating). That's how I construct my loopy bows too. Hardens relatively quickly and is edible.

Yep, melted chocolate will do the trick. icon_smile.gif
