I am thinking about starting an online cake decorating store but have no idea where to get started. I really want to open up my own bakery but I don't think its going to happen soon so I thought an online store would be eaiser and the closest thing to baking.

If you have ideas of products, suggestions on how to get started, etc., I would greatly appreciate it.

That's a massive undertaking. Just think of the capital you will need to purchase the merchandise you will sell. To be a decent store front you will need a lot of diverse merchandise.

It's do able... but you will need some marketing know how and the money to invest. Do you have room to store the mounds of merchandise? I think opening a bakery is the easier route... LOL.
