What would you suggest is the "ideal" size for a square wedding cake? My bride would like a three tier wedding cake with only the top tier real. The rest of the cake will be made from cake dummies. The cake is very plain with only a fondant band around the tiers and a bow on top. For presentation purposes, what size combination looks the best? Thanks!

anything from a 2-4 inch difference between the tiers. so within that combination, i think you could pick any size!

Anyone one of the sizes pp said would look good, especially since it is only going to have the ribbon border around each tier only and no flowers etc are needed to sit on the "ledges" of the cake. It just depends on what look your bride wants. Here are some pics.
