I have juat covered some cakes with fondant for tomorrow and I would like some advice please if it is okay to put the cakes back in the fridge or will that harded or perspire the fondant?

It will be fine, have done it many times. I think the moisture from the cake keeps the fondant from drying out, not sure, but whatever it is, it works.

I have done it also, using mmf, satin ice and fondx with no problems. Mff, however, got all shiny and sticky.

MMF=marshmallow fondant
MFF= Michelle Fosters fondant

The first time i put a cake with fondant accents in the fridge, the next morning they were all droopy! I havent put a fondant cake in the fridge since, and have never had problems. The fondant seals the cake in and keeps it fresh for several days, to my understanding...
