Hello CC Family.

I really need to know how I'm supposed to mail a cake that has been decorated with Rolled Buttercream. It is going to the Caribbean and I live in New york.

I thought about freezing but I'm at a lost and afraid it amy end up in pieces.

Please help! It's for my Great Grandmas 103rd birthday and I'm so sad I can't be there to celebrate so I really want to send the cake back for her and my family..... HELP!!

wow, that is some challenge. you really need a door to door delivery service to ensure it gets handled properly, which will cost an arm and a leg.
sending it by regular post or fedex might work, it might not, comes down to luck. theres a few pics in the dissaster gallery to show that! if you do post it, i would focus on making it taste great, rather than looking great, at least if it doesnt survive, there will be some tasty cake crumbs!
i havent done this my self, but hopeflly someone that has successfully one it will get back to you.
xx
