Does anyone have any ideas for a Betty Boop on a motorcycle cake? I'm going to make a Betty on a bike figure for the top of the cake, but I have no ideas for how to tie in the rest of the cake with it. It's going to be a 3 tier stacked cake. We're shooting for 'fun and funky'.

Is this for a wedding cake?

I would go with something on the simpler side so that most of the focus and eye goes to the topper you make. I think that if you used red/white/black colours or maybe even pink it would look really good.

Here are some betty boop cakes that might inspire you (sorry couldn't find one of her on a motorcycle).

The one on this site has a cute design:

Thank you xstitcher! No, it's not a wedding cake, just a ridiculously huge birthday party. I think you're right about a simple design, I'm thinking polka dots, hearts and maybe some kissy-lips if I can make them look right. Now here's hoping I can manage a gumpaste motorcycle... icon_rolleyes.gif

I think it'll look great. Looking forward to seeing the pic and good luck with the motorcycle! icon_smile.gif
