Hello all,
They just released the theme of the wedding cake competition at our state fair and I'm stumped.. the theme is A Festival of Fantasy in Frosting... I don't even know what that's supposed to mean, much less have ideas of designing a cake around it... any ideas? TIA

hmmm... it sounds to me like something related to fantasy or fairy tales...?

I saw a really pretty "Cinderella" inspired wedding cake on www.carriescakes.com. They aren't character cakes, but you can see how the cake was inspired by Cinderella's dress: swags on bottom tier, sculpted center tier like a corset, etc...

Good Luck!

To me that means something TT; lots of pretty etc.
I saw a few on that link to carriescakes. Look around. Don't go all out - you don't have to make it 7 tiers but do your very best - nice & near, crisp etc.
