What do you use to give it that metallic, sparkly look? Do you just brush it on or do you mix it in as you would coloring?

I use a combo of super pearl and silk white luster dusts and brush it on with a large brush, all over the entire cake.

Yes, dry brush, one of those large powder makeup brushes (got it brand new and only use it on cakes!) circular motions, but beware, the dusts are very fine and it floats in the air and gets all over things. my kitchen has a pretty shimmer all over it!!!

you can mix it with vodka to paint on, can be tricky to stop it being streaky, but it gives a very different look.

Vodka makes the first coat come off when you brush on the 2nd coat.
Use Lemon extract and it won't do that.
