Hey all, I made 20 roses that I need to stick on this cake, i used Edna's tutorial so there's floral wire sticking out of the bottom of them and i wasn't sure if i should just stick the wire in the cake when i position them or if i should use floral tape or some other kind of tape to wrap around the wires first. What do ya'll typically do? TIA

I use the waxed crepe type of floral tape. It's non-toxic and doesn't have any actual adhesive (it just sticks to itself because it's waxed and stretchy).
