Hello all! I need your expertise again!!
I want to make a topsy turvy cake but I only need the top two layers to be actual cake (it's for a small group); therefore the bottom two layer will be dummies. I was thinking of doing the bottom two layers as 14 and 12 inch styro topsy turvy dummies from Global Sugar Art. My question is: what size cake pans do I use for the top two layers? I havn't done this type of cake before so I'm not sure what the actual pan size would be when you are allowing room for carving? Do I still use an 10 and 8 inch pans? Or do I go up a size?
Help!
