Does anyone have a "good" cut-out sugar cookie recipe that won't spread while cooking? I have tried several recipes which all have spread out while baking, thus the cookie loosing it's shape. Any and all help/suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thank you,

Try the No-Fail Sugar Cookies. You can switch the flavoring to whatever you like.

Hi Christina-
I know a lot of people on this site us the No Fail Sugar Cookies (NFSC), the recipe is posted on the site.
I have read also that if you take the cookies out halfway during baking, you can cut them again with the cutter to minimize spreading. I'm no cookie expert though!

If you can chill your sheets with the cutouts on, they are perfect!

Bake them cold or frozen, just add a little more time to your baking.

I use NFSC almost exclusively.
