Hi, just received my first set of silicone molds. No directions with them. Do I need to dust them with corn starch first? Thanks for the help.

From my experience with silicon moulds you use them without cornstarch but just polish them up with a dry cloth. If I use them for fondant I put a bit of vegetable shortening on the fondant before pushing it into the mould.
Hope this helps.

I have silicone molds for lace, pearls and shells and never dust them and they do fine.
