please help me, i am making a cake with a busty lady popping out from the top of it and i am totally stumped as to where to begin, i have never made a figure before and i am worried i wont do a good job, its for a 60th bday party so it needs to look really good.

all advice is greatly appreciated

Are you planning to make all cake, or could you do the lady with cereal treats? That might be easier to shape and will be lighter.

the idea is to make a 2tier square cake and then have a fondant figure popping out the top, i wouldnt know what i was doing with cereal. i just dont know what i am doing with fondant.

I'm afraid I can't provide much direction...whenever I make figures I just kind of play with them until they look right. (or as 'right' as they're ever going to look.) Here's a bump anyway, maybe someone more knowledgeable can help...
