I want to add a pudding flavor to my favorite scratch cake. How much liquid should I add to offset the powdered pudding mix? I wouldn't think I should add the amount that actually makes pudding, but I really don't have a clue.

TIA

When I add strawberry gelatin to cake mixes, I add 1/4 cup water. Havent used powdered pudding mix though. Seems like it would be the same or pretty close.

Thank you, Heather. I'll try that unless I hear from some veteran pudding users!

I add pudding or jello without any additional liquid

Maybe you could just add an extra egg to the mix.
