So I'm making a baptism cake soon, and the couple is a very laid-back, fun-loving pair. They want a chocolate-fondant-covered square cake, not a topsy, but other than that I pretty much have carte blanche. I found this great cake for a wedding, and was thinking of trying something fun along the lines of these same figurines, but for a baptism ... any ideas of how to make a fun cake in this style but for a baby instead? Specifically for a baptism?

Thanks in advance!!!

-Emi.

What about the baby "driving" to the church or a cross?

That is a mighty cute idea to patter it after. I see a baby crawling up the cake to a baptism fount w/a minister standing by. Maybe a couple of crosses on the way up......&/or a few road signs w/baby's name, b'date, and parents names etc?
You don't want too much added or it will take away from the overall look........ JMHO icon_smile.gif
